DECADES OF HONING CLASSIC EXPERTISE
As a client of Bridlewood, you are under the care of professionals that have decades of combined experience learning, using, and teaching the classical philosophy of the American Hunter/Jumper Forward Riding System. Both Michael Dennehy and Toni Hrudka subscribe to this fundamental approach that has successfully created multiple hunter, jumper, and equitation champions, as well as Olympians and International Riders. Their agreement in this progressive approach allows for a seamless program regardless of the arena (s) that you are competing in or the coach that you are working with.
It is not by accident that Michael and Toni decided to team up to create a successful program together. Besides believing in the same classic style of riding, they both rode at the famous Arapahoe Riding Club owned by Michael’s equestrian parents, Wilson and Sandy Dennehy. Sandy claimed title’s from coast to coast in the Amateur Owner Hunter Rings, while Wilson Dennehy is the only rider to win all three of the coveted equitation finals in the same year- a feat that has yet to be duplicated.
Michael spent his formative years riding in Colorado with his father, as well as branching out to train with legendary greats including Bernie Traurig, George Morris, Frank Madden, the late Bill Cooney, and Karen Healey. His junior career was exceptionally prolific including, although definitely not limited to, top ten finishes in the prestigious USEF/Pessoa Medal Finals and Maclay Finals. Toni spent her junior career earning her own noteworthy accolades, including both the Pony and Hunter Finals. It was as professionals that their paths finally crossed at the legendary Arapahoe Riding Club, and the spark of their partnership was finally ignited.
