It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but this is an understatement when it comes to the work of Michelle Reed. Her pictures capture intricate stories.

Michelle is an award winning professional photographer with many years of experience running a sought after business in the wedding industry. As her career continued to accelerate, she decided to redirect her professional energy to a venture more close to her heart called "The Photographed Horse".  The Photographed Horse couples her passion as an avid equestrian, with her expertise of capturing candid moments, and strives to accurately document the trials and tribulations of competitive riders over a period of time.  

Bridlewood was beyond fortunate to be the subject of Michelle's lens for several days. Her expert eye, industry knowledge and subtle demeanor allowed her to invisibly capture the essence of the lifestyle of Bridlewood.  This journey initiated at our stable and quietly followed us through long days at a Colorado horse show. We were stunned when she shared the portfolio of her time with us. The compassion we have for our horses, the hard work of our riders and staff and the dedication we have in striving for the highest quality of performance possible was evident in her candid pictures. 

We cannot thank Michelle enough for documenting our journey.  We highly recommend the experience of working with Michelle to all equestrians, or parents of equestrians, who would like to preserve their emotions associated with this all encompassing sport.  Michelle is not about posing; she is dedicated to capturing the world that we all love so much.
